The Magnolia Sentinels''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 42-17 loss at the hands of Savanna. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Magnolia in their matchups with Savanna: they've now lost four in a row.
Jake Dorsi had a dynamite game for Savanna, rushing for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. Dorsi's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Perez , who threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt.
Savanna's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Magnolia's QB won't forget Jenul Madugalle anytime soon given Madugalle sacked him five times.
Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Savanna, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
Magnolia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Savanna also has no future games currently scheduled.
