Eagle Rock barely beat Lincoln the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 6-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Jake Sugi was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sugi was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jet Eells was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Eagle Rock hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.

Eagle Rock's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Eagle Rock will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
