Kennedy dropped their record down to 3-3 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they pushed their record up to 7-6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's part, Bryce Parker looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Parker a new career-high in strikeouts (two).
