2A District 3 recap November 5, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Dillon Smith and Torrance Gibson connected against Umatilla. The connection was good for 69 yards, the longest such play in 2A District 3 this season.
St. Edward's lost to Westminster Christian 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ian Leveton ran for 85 yards and caught 1 pass for 27 yards in the loss.
Gibson was the best wideout in the league this week as Trinity Christian Academy fell to the Bulldogs. Gibson racked up 3 receptions for 91 yards.
Trinity Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 610 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Amorie Archibald has 15 catches for 255 yards.
Warner Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on The First Academy.
