South waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 58-54 W over the Quartz Hill Royals.

Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julian Henriquez, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Henriquez is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty?Jahwuan Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

South's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Quartz Hill, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-64 defeat against Marina on the 6th. As for Quartz Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-40 victory against Temple City on the 6th.
