Having just played yesterday, the Lake Placid Bombers will head out on the road to face off against the Newcomb Central Huskies  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lake Placid will be strutting in after a  victory while Newcomb Central will be coming in after a  defeat.
Lake Placid is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Keene Central 46-19. The  contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bombers had established  a  23 point advantage.
 Lake Placid got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Abbey Light out in front who  posted 14  points.  Ellie Shipman was another key player,  putting up 11 points.
 Meanwhile, Newcomb Central was not able to break out of their rough patch  back in January as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They took  a  40-26 bruising from Wells. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wells CSD  9-4 in the first  quarter.
 Newcomb Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lake Placid, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
