The Weskan Coyotes will look to defend their home court on Monday against the St. Francis Indians. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Weskan pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Logan/Palco. Weskan has not had much luck with Logan/Palco recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Weskan might have lost, but man, Trey Allen was a machine: he scored 20 points. Allen is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brennan Aldridge, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, St. Francis' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 15th straight defeat. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Triplains/Brewster.
Weskan has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for St. Francis, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Weskan against St. Francis when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 61-32 win. Does Weskan have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Francis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
