The Mountain View Lobos won the last time they faced the Bowie Bears, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mountain View simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bowie 57-21 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.
Leading Mountain View to victory were Ximena Delgado and Jisell Huizar. Delgado scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals, while Huizar scored 13 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Ledesma, who scored 6 points along with 4 steals and 3 blocks.
The win got Mountain View back to even at 6-6. As for Bowie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Mountain View is on the road again on Thursday and play against Gadsden at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Bowie, they will look to defend their home court on December 8th against San Elizario at 12:00 p.m.
