The Fayette Ware Wildcats will challenge the Fayette Academy Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayette Ware has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 20.
Fayette Ware came up short against Tipton Christian Academy on Monday, falling 16-1.

Fayette Ware saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie German, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. German is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Fayette Academy won against Middleton on Thursday with 22 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over First Assembly Christian. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.
Leah Culver made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Culver was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Hannah Fly was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Ladner, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Fayette Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.
Fayette Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for Fayette Ware, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
