They skirted past Spurger 54-52. For Founders Christian, this counts as revenge for the 62-53 defeat Spurger walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.
Founders Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kade Jones, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Jones hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Morales, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Founders Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Spurger, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Founders Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Richards at 7:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Richards will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Spurger, they will head out on the road to face off against Apple Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
