The Wabash Valley HomeSchool Warriors struggled with assists on Friday (the Anderson HomeSchool SONS had 12 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Wabash Valley HomeSchool received a tough blow as they fell 58-39 to Anderson HomeSchool. Wabash Valley HomeSchool was down 50-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Wabash Valley HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Zach Wallace, who scored eight points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Sutton, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
It was another big night for Matthew Eaks, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and five steals for Anderson HomeSchool. Another player making a difference was Bennett Long, who scored 15 points.
Wabash Valley HomeSchool has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Wabash Valley HomeSchool on the road again on Friday and play against Butternut HomeSchoolers at 11:00 a.m. on January 19th. As for Anderson HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Noble-Whitley Warriors at 11:30 a.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Noble-Whitley Warriors focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
