Decatur's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Renlee Longenbaugh, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Longenbaugh has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bralyn Peck, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Decatur has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Castleberry, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-17.
