Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe waltzed into their game  on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Sonoraville Phoenix with  points to spare, taking the game  30-14. The Warriors pushed the score to  27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Phoenix cut but never quite recovered from.
 Loss or not, Sonoraville got some senior leadership from  Chaz Pate and  Langston Butler.  Pate threw for 357 yards and one  TD, while  Butler picked up 147 receiving yards and one  touchdown. Those 147  receiving yards set a new season-high mark for  Butler.
Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sonoraville,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4.
