 In other pitching news,  Melody Filipiak looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Mak Sitarski was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bailey McCalister, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Allen Park pushed their record up to 11-3 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Divine Child, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-6.
 Allen Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  an  11-1  victory vs. Roosevelt on the 30th. As for Divine Child, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against St. Mary's Prep at 4:00  p.m.
