Meanwhile, Deer Valley humbled Mt. Eden with a 45-7 victory.
Anias Hightower was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 77 yards. Another player making a difference was Adrian Masaniai, who threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes.
The victory made it two in a row for Berkeley and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Deer Valley, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
