After soaring high against Pender last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Winnebago were completely outmatched, falling 26-64 to Lutheran-Northeast.
The loss dropped Winnebago's record to 1-0. The win got Lutheran-Northeast back to even at 0-0.
Winnebago will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 7:00 PM. Lutheran-Northeast are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Omaha Nation next week at 6:00 PM.
