Chattanooga Prep came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cleveland Blue Raiders by a score of 71-62. Given the Sentinels' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Blue Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maguire Evans, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Armstrong, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points.

Chattanooga Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Chattanooga Prep has already played their next contest, a 47-46 victory against Montgomery Bell Academy on the 29th. As for Cleveland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-39 defeat against Viera on the 29th.
