On Saturday, St. Pius X are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Bayless at 1:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
St. Pius X took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Windsor last Friday as they made off with a 42-14 win. St. Pius X was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Bayless couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 13-39 punch to the gut against Brentwood last week.
St. Pius X's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Bayless's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if St. Pius X can add another positive mark to their record or if Bayless can shake off the loss and take the spring out of St. Pius X's step.
