There's no place like home for Heritage Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes on Monday. Considering the Heroes have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sieana Soltero made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). Soltero was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

In other batting news, Heritage Academy got a massive performance out of Savana Soltero, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Soltero has posted since back in March. Gloriann Blanco was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Heritage Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Heritage Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they will head out to challenge Benson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Coyotes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
