The Northwestern Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Eleanor Roosevelt on the road and fell 90-40. Northwestern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-12.
Mason Douglas was on fire for Eleanor Roosevelt: he scored 31 points.
Northwestern's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern and Parkdale will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Parkdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against High Point at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully High Point focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
