It was a good run, but Minneota unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Renville County West Jaguars by a score of 75-72. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Minneota's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Renville County West, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Minneota will head out on the road to challenge Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Minneota's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Renville County West, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hancock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Renville County West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Hancock likes a good challenge.
