 Meanwhile, Richland Center fell victim to Lancaster and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They suffered a  tough 12-0 loss at the hands of the Flying Arrows. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, Richland Center's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 River Valley's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 1-4. As for Richland Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Everything went River Valley's way against Richland Center in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023 as River Valley made off with  a  10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for River Valley since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
