More is 7-0 against the Crusaders since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The More Cavaliers will head out on the road to take on the Red Cloud Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, More strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 39-22.
Meanwhile, Red Cloud put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lead-Deadwood 94-25 on the road. Red Cloud has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Ashlan Carlow-Blount continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Carlow-Blount is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jodene Hunter was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.
More's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Red Cloud, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
More beat the Crusaders 56-46 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for More since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
