Monticello's victory was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-7. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Little Rock,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-12.
