Delta faced Cook Inlet Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Huskies' defense stepped up to hand the Eagles an 8-0 shutout. Considering Delta have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 18-0. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
