La Cueva has gone a perfect 4-0 against Santa Fe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Demons at 10:00 a.m. La Cueva will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
La Cueva's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Capital as they made off with a 20-0 win. Considering the Bears have won 14 games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Liliana Montoya made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on MaceRae Santistevan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Larkin Millburn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
La Cueva always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .852. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Capital only posted an OBP of .100.
Eight must be Santa Fe's lucky number: they beat Manzano with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Demons were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Monarchs. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Leah Gutierrez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks.
On the hitting side, A'Mya Jeselink was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Alyssa Prada was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
La Cueva pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Fe, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
Santa Fe's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: La Cueva has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Santa Fe, though, as they've been averaging 10 hits. Given La Cueva's sizable advantage in that area, the Demons will need to find a way to close that gap.
La Cueva took their victory against Santa Fe in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Demons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
