It was a good run, but the Sutter Huskies unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They suffered a tough 54-30 defeat at the hands of Twelve Bridges. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sutter has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Sutter still got an impressive performance from Jagger Beck, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Beck hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Naseem Bhatti, who scored seven points.
Sutter's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10. As for Twelve Bridges, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sutter will challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colfax will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Twelve Bridges, they will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
