Westfield School is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will look to defend their home field against the Strong Rock Christian Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Westfield School's defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so Strong Rock Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Friday, Westfield School strolled past Pinewood Christian with points to spare, taking the game 29-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Westfield School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brock Johnson, who rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 41 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards Johnson has posted since back in October of 2024. Jack Doster was in the mix too, providing Westfield School with one score.
Westfield School's run defense was locked in: Pinewood Christian could only muster 3.4 yards per carry. While two picked up at least four total tackles, Drew Keller stood above the rest. He rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown. Westfield School's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.4.
Meanwhile, Strong Rock Christian hadn't done well against St. Anne-Pacelli recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 42-21 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Jake Johnson and Donovan 'DJ' Colvin. Johnson had a great game and rushed for 140 yards and a pair of TDs. Meanwhile, Colvin did his best for the losing side, rushing for 122 yards and one score.

Strong Rock Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Westfield School, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Everything went Westfield School's way against Strong Rock Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Westfield School made off with a 28-7 victory.
