Interboro extended their postseason success on Friday against Merion Mercy Academy. They came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of  9-6. The Buccaneers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.
 Jules Bergen made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  six earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ava Magee and  Olivia Bulovas did most of the damage at the plate:  Magee  went 2-for-3 with nine  runs and one  double, while  Bulovas  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  nine  runs gave  Magee a new career-high.  Mare Nagle was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Interboro pushed their record up to 20-2 with the  win, which was their ninth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Merion Mercy Academy,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at 15 games  and leaves them with a 18-4 record.
As of now, neither Interboro nor the Golden Bears have any future games scheduled.
