Anthony Elizondo and Sammy Luna certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Elizondo scored 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Luna scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That was a full 53.7% of Diamond Hill-Jarvis' points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Even though they lost, Diamond Hill-Jarvis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Diamond Hill-Jarvis has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 16 of their last 19 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season. As for Western Hills, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.
