Alexa Hooks was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
