The Kecoughtan Warriors fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 18-10 victory over Woodside on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kecoughtan also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Kecoughtan's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Woodside, their defeat was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Kecoughtan will take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Heritage is ranked 159th, while Kecoughtan is ranked 176th). As for Woodside, they will head out on the road to face off against Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Gloucester is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
