Storm Lake hadn't done well against Le Mars recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Storm Lake Tornadoes were the clear victor by a 73-53 margin over the Le Mars Bulldogs. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Storm Lake's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Le Mars, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
