Pine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Synergy Magnet K12 Saints. On the bright side, the 49- point performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring contest to date.

Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Synergy Magnet K12, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Pine will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lincoln Park Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Knights will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 70.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Synergy Magnet K12, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Somerset College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
