Tradition Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Somerset College Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took an 85-67 bruising from Jupiter Christian.
Tradition Prep will need focus on slowing down Brian Forde, one of several Somerset College Prep Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and seven boards. Those 12 points gave Forde a new career-high. William Tracey was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Tradition Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tradition Prep has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Somerset College Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds.
