Clear Creek barely beat Clear Brook the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 9-1 win on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Clear Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 16-8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Clear Brook, they dropped their record down to 8-13-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Clear Creek will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
