It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Smyrna Beach had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Clearwater Tornadoes. The win was nothing new for the Barracudas as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Smyrna Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Olson, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Olson's third in a row with at least 18 points. Iniya Reddicks was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 16 points and seven boards.
New Smyrna Beach smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.
Taina Sturdivant and Allevia Williams certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss.
