5A Central recap November 19, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 5A Central this week, Pulaski Academy beat Watson Chapel 50-36. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Bruins.
Pulaski Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on the Wildcats.
Will Hastings of the Kevin Kelley's team's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 32 receiving yards in this week's game against Morrilton to get there. So far this year, he has acheived 47 catches for 968 yards.
Mills University Studies made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,210 from 4,508. The improvement was largely due to a 32-13 victory over White Hall last week.
