Trinity Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Pine Ridge Panthers 11-5. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.
Jenessa Pomales was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Pomales was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
