Natomas will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Laguna Creek at 5:00 PM.
Last Friday, Natomas couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-40 walloping at Marysville hands.
Laguna Creek had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Valley 36-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-0.
Laguna Creek's lifted them to 1-0 while Natomas's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Laguna Creek can add another positive mark to their record or if Natomas can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Laguna Creek's step.
