Whitmire lost to Wagener-Salley 60-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Austin Jenkins was a bright spot for the Wolverines, as he threw for 147 yards in the defeat.
Whitmire made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,076 from 14,168. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 60-6 victory over Donald Addis' team last week.
Connor Holden and Issa Johnson gave Southside Christian a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Holden threw for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Johnson ran for 92 yards. Spencer Alverson also contributed to the rushing game with 48 yards on the ground.

Holden put up the best numbers through the air as Steve Lockwood's team fell to the Hornets. Holden's favorite target this week was Alverson, who caught 2 passes for 31 yards.
Christ Church Episcopal led the league in scoring this week by notching 38 points on Carolina Academy.
