Leading Serra Catholic to victory were Isiah Petty and Pete Burke. Petty scored 26 points along with four steals, while Burke scored 32 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The game was Burke's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Underwood, who scored six points.
Springdale's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Serra Catholic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Springdale will be playing at home against Leechburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leechburg will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while Springdale is ranked 279th). As for Serra Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
