Mountain View took down Parkrose 56-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyler Ayers ran for 202 yards in the win.
The Cougars led 5A Intermountain in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Broncos. Ayers in the win.
Cody Connell was the best wideout in the league this week as Bend lost to Lebanon. Connell racked up three receptions for 56 yards. Duke DeGaetano helped Bend's passing attack out by catching four balls for 40 yards.
Kyle Shaver made the biggest impact on defense this week as Mountain View topped Parkrose. The 6-foot-0 senior racked up three sacks.
Toby Webb put up the best numbers through the air as Brian Crum's team defeated Tim Price's team. He finished with seven completions for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Webb's favorite target this week was Kyle Johnson, who caught two passes for 51 yards.
Mountain View's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Webb has thrown for 1781 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while John Carroll has 56 catches for 1112 yards. Ayers leads the league in rushing with 1582 yards.
In 195 carries DeGaetano has accumulated 971 yard this year.
The Cougars made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,094 from 4,186. The improvement was the result of 56-20 victory over the Broncos last week.
