When it comes to explaining why Etowah lost, one person who can't be blamed is Megan Reed. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with two steals. Reed is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Stacie Angelakos, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Etowah's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Rome, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.
