Gettysburg/Hoven extended the longest winning streak in Yellowstone Trail (9 Man) this week by beating Howard, 22-8. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Gettysburg/Hoven led the league in points allowed with 8.
Vern Smith's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chayce Hall threw for 128 and 2 touchdowns and Tanner Heuer had 57 yards receiving. On the ground Hall chipped in 40 yards. Michael Rausch helped Gettysburg/Hoven's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 38 yards.
Hall was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 40 yards on 6 carries as the Battlers bested the Tigers. Teammate Hayden Simon added to the ground attack by rushing for 46 yards.
Gettysburg/Hoven's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Battlers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hall has thrown for 984 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Luke Vogel has 15 catches for 282 yards. Hall also leads the league in rushing with 762 yards.
Gettysburg/Hoven also led the league in scoring this week after putting up 22 points.
