In what's become a running theme this season, the North Lincoln Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by West Iredell on the road to the tune of 73-27. Given North Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while West Iredell is ranked 554th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Hailey Hagler, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists. Another player making a difference was Madi Black, who scored 12 points.
North Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for West Iredell, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lincoln will take on East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 422 points over their last six matches. As for West Iredell, they will be playing at home against North Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
