After a string of three wins, the St. Joseph Jayhawks's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They fell  34-27 to American Heritage. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Joseph in their matchups with American Heritage: they've now lost four in a row.
 Several Jayhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Eliza Berg, who  scored six points along with eight  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lizzie Randall, who  scored eight points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 St. Joseph's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-11. As for American Heritage, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will take on Draper APA at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Draper APA has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,118 points over their last 15 contests. As for American Heritage, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00  p.m.
