They came out on top against Liberty Hill by a score of 51-44. Given Rouse's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Liberty Hill is ranked 178th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rouse to victory, but perhaps none more so than Roy Gardner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devin Brown, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Rouse pushed their record up to 20-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Liberty Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-8.
Rouse will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lehman at 7:00 p.m. Lehman is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Liberty Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
