Luke Oxarart's Big Game Leads Jefferson over Sweet Grass County
Starting off the list is Jefferson's Luke Oxarart, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Oxarart rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Jefferson, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers faces off against Manhattan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mattson Posts Huge Game in 45-0 Win
Deegan Mattson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 57 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned for a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Mattson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Sweet Grass County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Mattson saw the Sheepherders), he threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Three Forks/Willow Creek Gets a Boost from Reichman in 33-16 Defeat
While Kanon Reichman delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Three Forks/Willow Creek. Despite the defeat, Reichman was still balling out as he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 213 yards on 18 of 31 attempts.
This season, Reichman has averaged 159.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to 12.
