Tumwater has gone a perfect 3-0 against Timberline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will square off against the Blazers at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Timberline will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tumwater extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Shelton.

The team relied heavily on Brielle Womach, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Zoe Fields was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Tumwater always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Timberline won against Peninsula last Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Blazers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Gig Harbor. The Blazers haven't had any issues with the Tides recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Nevaeh Haagen was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Brookelyn Read was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Porsha Miller, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Timberline's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Tumwater, their record is now 15-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Tumwater hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Timberline struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Tumwater took their victory against Timberline in their previous meeting back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
